Thinking of Lena’s place in the Ukrainian contemporary art I clearly understood that Elena Blank – is a tuning fork.
The God gave to her a lucky possibility to be liked by a very good artists: Makov, Sukholit, Isupova, Silvashy, Babak.
In the "Diary" Leonardo was recalling that he always liked to observe the cracks, spots on the walls. You can see a lot. Lena’s sheets – are the pieces of this wall.
P.S. Postindustrial, post modern – all these post were good at the end of the century, culture, art. Now we are in a new times – it’s time of simple, naive... wise. Such as Lena Blank.

The things made by Lena Blank are impossible to be characterized by banal workshop attitude.
Her activity – is a rare example of how well known technologies in hands of clever,
talented and deeply feeling person turns into the magic game, labyrinth from which you don’t want to find the exit.
